We have a beautiful off-grid location in southern Spain, just south of Ronda, on 2.5 hectares of land\u2014a small hill, really. The views are fantastic: wide, 360-degree mountain landscape with fields, trees\u00a0 and at the foot of the hill, the river and the railway. The nature is wild and the vistas healing. You can truly connect with yourself. The view slowly brings you to your core. There\u2019s space for reflection and intuition.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Ukulandia is a refuge for people who want to enjoy beautiful views in freedom. A holiday in between three national parks where you can walk or cycle. Once back on location you can enjoy the sun, read a book, play ukulele or work on your project. There are two caravans, a Casita with private bathroom and camping pitches without facilities for the real die-hard campers.<\/p>

Our goal is to facilitate creative holidays and moments of total freedom and awareness. Sit down on your own spot on the little mountain we like to share. Look into the valley of the Guadiaro river and try to empty your hasty head and fill your mind with emptiness. The void will help you to rebuild your personality and tranfer yourself to a better and more comfortable you! Of couse you can use meditation, yoga, taichi, sound or body motion! You can fully focus on yourself without having any opinions. Not about\u00a0anything nor about others. Opinions are suffocating and exhausting. Mind your own business, but do respect your surrounding!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

There are two options here. You can contribute to the space around you, to the ‘little mountain’ or work on your own project.\u00a0In fact there is no NEED to do anything BUT feel free to renew your direct surrounding by being creative. Make things beautiful by planting, building, painting, filming, performing, making music or food and creating moments of awareness within yourself and others.<\/span><\/p>

We invite artists in residence<\/b> to stay in one of the caravans, the casita, or in your own camper to stay with us for a period. Work on your own project in whatever discipline while enjoying freedom.<\/p>

You live and you die!<\/b> You get into your coffin with nothing at all, so everything you acquire on Earth is temporary. What you acquire, you can apparently use whether you get it in a fair way or not. But why not share it if you can’t take it with you anyway and actually have everything on loan. Many people suffer from a severe form of greed. We have acquired the mountain with a house by good saving and then working hard to make something beautiful out of it. It’s never finished! Here we want to do all we can to make it beautiful through attention, harmony, vision and work ethic. Please note, if it’s not good what we are doing, we will tear it down and just start all over again like if we are building for eternity. We are artists!<\/p>

“The most precious moment are the moments you share with others\u201d.<\/b> But without love,\u00a0 there is no existence. Not everybody is good at sharing but I think we are\u2026 Although there are rules: We always work on the basis of trust. Nature<\/a><\/h3>

Ukulandia is located between two nature reserves. The Alcornocales and Grazalema. And nearby there's also the Sierra de las Nieves. They all have unique nature and possibilities for walks and for example bird watching.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Fiestas<\/h3>

With the very lively culture of Andalusia there is always a holiday that you had not expected. The shops are closed but the bars are not. The next day is often included too, so when the fiesta is on Sunday, you get Monday to sleep off your intoxication. A fiesta is always a day for which you have to take your time.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Hiking and Biking<\/h3>

There are numerous walks to do in the area. Short and long distances. Directly from the house you can walk on a variety of roman roads for some kilometers. But if you really want to go for a serious adventure, for example 10-30km, there are also loads of possibilities in the beautiful surroundings.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
